Job description
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and motivated Multi Skilled Engineer at our Westerleigh site.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will be part of a team working across a designated shift pattern and providing support across the site including our Abattoir, Butchery and Packing Departments.
Working Hours : 4 on 4 off (2 days, 2 nights pattern)
You will be :
- excellent fault finders and have strong mechanical skills with a good working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and PLC's.
- They will also be expected to accurately record all maintenance work using our computerised maintenance system so strong computer skills are a must.
The Engineering department is crucial to the efficient running of the site and therefore applicants will be required to demonstrate :
- excellent communication skills when liaising with internal departments and external contractors
- a flexible and proactive approach to ensure the overall needs of the business are met.
- Ideally applicants will have direct experience of working with food processing and packaging equipment, however familiarisation training on this specialist equipment can be provided for the right candidate.
