PositionOverview :
The successful candidatewill play a key role in delivering a comprehensive and engagingEconomics curriculum to students across Key Stages 4 and 5.
Therole entails fostering a stimulating and insightful learningenvironment that encourages critical thinking analytical skills anda deep understanding of economic principles and their realworldapplications.
KeyResponsibilities :
- Designand deliver inspiring Economics lessons that align with thenational curriculum and the schools educationalethos.
- Create a dynamic classroom atmospherethat promotes student engagement andparticipation.
- Assess and monitor studentprogress providing constructive feedback to facilitate individualgrowth.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagueswithin the Social Sciences department and across the school toenrich the learning experience.
- Stay abreast ofcurrent economic trends pedagogical approaches and developments inEconomicseducation.
Qualificationsand Experience :
- ABachelors degree or higher in Economics or a closely relatedfield.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or anequivalent teaching qualification.
- Demonstratedexperience teaching Economics at the secondary level preferablyacross Key Stages 4 and5.
