From our charming 34-bedroomboutiqueMortonHoteltoourlarge standlivelyRoyalNationalhotelwithahuge 1630-bedrooms.Collectivelyour8hotels haveafantasticvarietyofmeetingsandevents spaceswithflexibilitytoaccommodatearound-tablediscussionfor6peoplealarge conferenceattendedbyover700delegateswithinour28meetingrooms.
WearenowrecruitingforaCluster Meetings&Events; SalesManagertojoinourvibrant andmulti-culturalteam.Wedon't want youtoworkforus, wewant youto workwithus and be part of our ILH Family.
Inthisexcitingrole,youwillbereportingtoourHeadofSalesandimplementingstrategiestoachieve our Meetings & Event sales & revenue targets. Responsible for generating new sales, networking,andnurturingourexistingclients toincreaserevenues acrossthehotels.
What you'llbedoing
As Cluster M&E; Sales Manageryour key responsibilities will include the following: OPERATIONAL
- Perform day-to-day sales activity including lead generation, account management, face-to-facemeetings,contracting,cliententertainment,nationalsalestrips, managingkey eventsagents partnershipsandattendingtradeshowsandnetworking.
- Target and contract new direct and agency business as required and in line with the hotel sales strategy.
- Havefullproductknowledge ofthefacilitiesoffered.
- Callingpotentialclients,arranging show-around,andconvertingenquiries insales.
- Arrangingownsalesappointmentsandactioningprofessionalfollow-upaccordingly.
- Establish key relationships with corporate clients and agencies to ensure maximum exposureandincrease revenue.
- Ensurepro-activefollow-upofallbusiness,referrals, andpotentialsalesleads.
- Attend,host,andcoordinate cliententertainingasrequired.
- Proactivelydrive newMICEbusiness intothehotels.
- Manageanddevelopexisting agencyandcorporate accounts.
- Work closely with the Head of Sales, Cluster Sales Managers and Meeting & Events Team.
- Drive and Support conversion of Meeting and Events enquiries, supporting the in-house Meeting and Events sales team.
- Meet andexceeddefined salestargets.
- Development and implementation of hotel sales plan also maximizing revenue and profit.
- Attendandcontributetoweeklyandmonthlyhotelmeetingsasrequired.
- Maintainconfidentialityofguestandassociatesinformationandpertinent hoteldata.
- ToidentifycreativeideastohelpimproveanddifferentiateImperialLondonHotels.
Whatwedlikefromyou
- You will have proven experience gained in proactive sales, ideally from within the M&E; Hospitality sector.
- Astrongknowledge oftheM&EAgencylandscape; andlargenetworkofyourown.
- Experienceofsalesandnegotiationskills.
- Commerciallyfocusedwithgoodknowledgeoflocaltrendsandcompetitoractivity.
- Confidentandengagingmannerwiththeabilitytobuildrapport andtrustatalllevels both internally and externally.
- Strongleadershipandmotivationalskills.
- Excellentcommunicationbothwrittenandverbal.
- Youwillhaveexcellentorganisationskillswiththeability toprioritiseandadaptto changing priorities.
- Acts as brand ambassador for Imperial London Hotels promoting a professional image at all times.
