The school is looking for a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to provide one-on-one and group support to students with learning difficulties.
Working closely with teachers and the SENCo, you will help to implement individual learning plans, assisting students to overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.
Responsibilities :
- Provide one-on-one support to students with learning difficulties, helping them engage with the curriculum.
- Assist in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Work alongside class teachers and the SENCo to implement tailored learning plans.
- Support students with a range of learning needs, adapting your approach to meet individual requirements.
- Help monitor progress and provide feedback to the SENCo and teaching staff.
Experience and Qualifications :
- Previous experience working with children with SEN preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A patient and empathetic approach to working with children.
- A clear DBS check.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
