ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently recruiting for motivated, reliable and customer focused ESG and Quality Assurance Officer to join our team based in Uxbridge, London, UB8 1HE. (Mobile and hybrid working)

Job Type: Permanent - Full Time.

Pay Rate: £35,000 per annum.

Working Hours: 40Hrs per week, Monday to Friday 09:00Hrs to 17:30Hrs.

Start Date: Immediately.

Overview of Role:

The ESG and Quality Assurance Officer will play a key role in developing, monitoring, and improving Tenon fm`s Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) and Quality Management Systems. Reporting to the QuESH Director,





this position requires proactive management of ESG strategies and quality assurance initiatives to ensure compliance with relevant standards and legislation.

The officer will work closely with all departments to align ESG and quality strategies with the broader business goals, driving continual improvement across all operational areas. This includes managing audits and their data, contributing to sustainability objectives, and leading cross-functional initiatives that support carbon reduction and social responsibility efforts.

As ESG and Quality Assurance Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the alignment and ongoing compliance with Tenon fm's key ISO standards. This includes ISO 9001 for quality management, ISO 14001 for environmental management, ISO 50001 for energy management, ISO 26000 for corporate social responsibility, and ISO 20400 for sustainable procurement.

Your role will ensure that our processes and practices not only meet but exceed the requirements of these international standards, driving continuous improvement across all business functions while fostering a culture of sustainability,





safety, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

ESG and Carbon Management:
- Support in driving the company`s ESG strategy, focusing on reducing greenhouse gas emissions across Scope 1, 2, and 3. Monitor, report, and promote sustainability initiatives to achieve carbon neutrality.
ISO and Quality Assurance:
- Support internal and external audits for maintaining ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, 14001, 50001), working with both internal stakeholders and external consultants to ensure compliance and continual improvement.
- Continually drive our alignment to standards such as ISO 26000 for corporate social responsibility, ISO 20400 for sustainable procurement, and ISO 27002 for information security.






Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, external customers, and supply chain partners to embed ESG practices and quality standards throughout the business.
ESG Reporting:
- Manage the gathering and analysis of data for all types of reports, including the annual ESG impact report, ensuring alignment with current legislation and business goals. Develop strategies for improvement based on audit findings and evolving best practices.
Quality Assurance:
- Manage the collection and analysis of data for quality assurance reporting, ensuring alignment with ISO 9001 requirements and business objectives. Develop strategies for improvement based on internal audit findings, customer feedback, and evolving industry best practices.





Ensure that all quality management processes are effectively monitored, with continuous improvements implemented to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Training and Development:
- Identify further training needs related to sustainability, energy management, and quality standards across business units. Assist with the continual development and delivery of training programs and workshops for employees at all levels to increase awareness and compliance and best practices.
Risk Management and Continuous Improvement:
- Collaborate with all business units to identify and assess ESG and quality risks and opportunities. Develop action plans to mitigate risks and capitalise on opportunities, ensuring continuous improvement.






Environmental Membership and Certifications:
- Coordinate with all stakeholders on the company`s environmental memberships and certification objectives, ensuring that all relevant accreditations are maintained.
Policy and Procedure Support:
- Assist the QuESH Director in developing and maintaining company policies and procedures in line with ESG and quality objectives.
- Hybrid Working and National Travel:
- This role allows flexibility in defining a hybrid working pattern in agreement with the QuESH Director. National travel will occasionally be required to conduct site audits and attend stakeholder meetings.

Your role will demand you to always work with integrity at all times, ensuring strict adherence to company policies, procedures,





and ISO standards without exceptions.

Key Skills:

- Excellent Microsoft Office suite skills, with the ability to produce presentations for internal stakeholders and external tender propositions.
- Be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with the ability to write detailed reports, compliance and engagement communications and comfortable with delivering ESG and Quality training.
- Excellent skills in building relationships and developing partnerships across multiple stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Have an adaptable and flexible approach.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
- Excellent organisation, prioritisation,





and administration skills with a focus on attention to detail.
- Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet Company core values.

Previous experience is desirable; however, full training will be provided. You will need to present and conduct yourself in a professional, courteous and appropriate manner in accordance with the Company policies, procedures, guidelines and values.
