Science Teacher Sought for Outstanding Secondary School in Merton
We are pleased to collaborate with a high-achieving secondary school in Merton, recognized for its "Outstanding" Ofsted rating and commitment to providing a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
They are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their faculty in a full-time, permanent position starting immediately.
Position Summary
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the school's thriving Science department and inspire students with a passion for scientific inquiry. The role entails :
- Designing and delivering engaging and rigorous Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum and school's educational goals across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Fostering a love of science and developing strong scientific understanding in students.
- Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and implementing personalized learning strategies to maximize individual potential.
- Collaborating with colleagues within the department and wider school community to develop and enhance the Science curriculum and extracurricular activities.
Qualifications & Experience :
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a Science-related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
- Proven experience teaching Science at the secondary level, ideally across Key Stages 3 and 4.

with a strong commitment to student success.
- Possesses excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently, demonstrating initiative and adaptability.
