PositionOverview :
The successful candidatewill be instrumental in delivering a comprehensive and engagingFood Technology curriculum to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The role entails fostering a dynamic and handson learningenvironment that encourages practical skills development creativityand a sound understanding of food science andnutrition.
KeyResponsibilities :
- Designand deliver captivating Food Technology lessons that align with thenational curriculum and the schools educationalethos.
- Create a stimulating classroom andkitchen environment that promotes student engagement andparticipation.
- Assess and monitor studentprogress providing constructive feedback to facilitate individualgrowth.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagueswithin the Technology department and across the school to enrichthe learning experience.
- Stay abreast ofcurrent pedagogical approaches and developments in Food Technologyeducation.
Qualificationsand Experience :
- ABachelors degree or higher in Food Technology Home Economics or arelated field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)or an equivalent teachingqualification.
- Demonstrated experience teachingFood Technology at the secondarylevel.
