What will you be doing?
As a Civil Structural Engineer , you will join our team in Bristol to support our activities within the Nuclear Sector.
Your main responsibilities will be :
- Design and analysis of structures using steel , concrete and adhering to Eurocodes.
- Conducting technical assessments of civil engineering documentation for their designated structures.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and presentations.
- Responsible for the production of structural calculations and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate closely with CAD designers and other engineers to coordinate detailing for 3D BIM rebar models and / or 2D drawings of reinforced concrete or steel structures.

Experience, skills and qualifications required :
- Has done design and analysis of structures using steel, concrete and adhering to Eurocodes.
- Has previously engaged in projects across a variety of sectors, including defence, nuclear facilities, maritime design, oil & gas, heavy civil engineering, geenfield, brownfield or large infrastructure projects.
- Has performed seismic design and detailing (to US Codes) for steel and concrete structures.
- Utilize structural analysis software (e.g., Robot Structural Analysis, Revit) and demonstrate a willingness to learn new technologies and software.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil engineering, Structural Engineering, Nuclear Engineering or any other related subjects.
