Teacher of Maths
Location : Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire
Start Date : November 2024
Salary : MPS / UPS; £31,650 - £49,084 per annum
Contract : Full Time
GSL Education’s North Yorkshire Branch is currently recruiting for Maths Teachers to work at a Client Secondary School located in Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire.

Teacher of Maths Responsibilities :
- Deliver Maths lessons to a range of abilities in line with curriculum objectives
- Maintain organised learning resources.
- Support the progress of all students studying Mathematics by taking a role in departmental support.
- Provide clear structures for lessons maintaining peace, motivation and challenge.
- Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.
- Use creative teaching methods to engage students in lessons.
Teacher of Maths Requirements :
- Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in teaching Mathematics.
- Ability to work well within a team as well as individually.
- Have committed and passionate view of students with SEND.
- Has knowledge of the national secondary education system, examinations and curriculum.
- Be an exceptional classroom practitioner with high expectations of both learning and behaviour.
- Hold a Child Only DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education.
