As a Project Manager in our Products & Technology division, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects within our product development and technology teams. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, designers, and stakeholders, to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. This role is based 4 days a week at home and 1 day in the Richmond office.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective solutions.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead project teams consisting of engineers, designers, and other stakeholders.
- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment to drive project success.
- Facilitate communication and alignment between team members and stakeholders.
Stakeholder Management:
- Engage with stakeholders to gather project requirements and expectations.
- Provide regular project updates, status reports, and performance metrics to stakeholders.
- Address stakeholder feedback and ensure alignment with project goals.
Quality Assurance and Delivery:
- Define and enforce quality standards for project deliverables.
- Conduct thorough testing and reviews to ensure product quality and functionality.
- Manage the delivery process to meet project objectives and customer expectations. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, reports, and documentation.
- Prepare and present project updates, progress reports, and post-project evaluations.
- Capture lessons learned and implement improvements for future projects.
Our Ideal Candidate will have:
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar capacity.
- PMP, Prince 2 and/or Scrum Master qualification
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in product development or technology domains.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
- Self-motivated individual who excels at completer-finisher.
