Project Manager - Midstream Construction
TEXAS
Location : Abilene, TEXAS (Onsite)
Salary : 120000-140000
Relocation Assistance : Stipend up to $10,000 (case-by-case basis)
Travel : Occasional, as needed
Company Overview :
Join a dynamic midstream construction company specializing in the construction of natural gas reciprocating compressor stations, natural gas turbine compressor stations, and meter and pump stations for the oil and gas industry.
As a Project Manager, you will serve as a key liaison between field operations, corporate management, and client project managers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee and manage projects from the corporate office.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client project managers, addressing project concerns including schedules, on-site issues, extra work, and permitting.
- Collaborate with the scheduling team to develop, review, and maintain project timelines.
- Work closely with field supervision to ensure projects run smoothly.
- Use project controls to keep projects on track and meet deadlines.
- Lead various project management tasks as required.
- Travel to project sites as necessary to support operations.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to ensure successful project completion.
Skills & Expertise :
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear procedures and policies.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to take charge of a project and guide it to completion.
- Proficiency in Excel, MS Project, and Word.
- Ability to interpret complex construction drawings.
- Solid understanding of scope of work (SOW) documents.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Capability to develop project-specific plans when required.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-focused environment.
Qualifications :
- Demonstrated project management experience, particularly in the oil and gas sector.
- In-depth knowledge of compressors, pumps, and turbines.
