Due to new project wins, our client is currently recruiting for a Site agent to join the project team for a £30million package of works on Sizewell C.
The scheme involves a variety of heavy civils but predominantly environmental sheet piling for a minimum of 18 months.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, track, and manage work schedules to ensure project timelines are met.
* Oversee the management of on-site personnel and subcontractors.
* Evaluate and engage subcontractors as needed for project success.
* Develop method statements, risk assessments, and project management plans.
* Ensure contracts are completed on time and within profitability targets.
* Monitor contract costs in relation to tender allowances and stay within budgetary constraints.
* Coordinate and manage all aspects of design.
* Handle and manage contract variations effectively.
* Engage with and inform local community groups when required.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering a positive reputation.
Requirements:
* HNC / HND in Civil Engineering ( or equivalent)
* Experience in similar role
* Ability to prioritise own workload
* Able to run multiple complex and non-complex sites
* Maintain comprehensive records.
* Have compliance with current legislation requirements, including the production and implementation of RAMs and other associated safety/project documentation.
* The ability to forecast cost and programme
