Rate: £450 - £570p/d DOE
Location: Remote

Client: Public SectorExperis are working with a Public Sector organisation looking for a Senior Automation Tester who currently holds Active SC Clearance, or is willing to go through it. We are looking for a number of individuals who have Set up Test Automation Frameworks from scratch using C#, who have worked on legacy systems and worked on upgrading and improving testing within a project.
We are also looking for someone who can Champion the testing within the team,
who can mentor and train Juniors, and can push modernisation into the project.
Key Skills/Experience
Essential
5+ years of Automation Testing/SDET experience.
C# .NET coding experience - ESSENTIAL
Experience working on legacy systems is ESSENTIAL
VB.NET = essential.
Experience setting up test automation frameworks from scratch using C#.
Selenium
Gherkin
Nunit
Playwright - modern testing which will be something they are doing more of in the coming months.
Agile and Git experience.
Mentorship of Junior Testers. Desirable:
Azure cloud experience.
SC Clearance is desirable.
Postman
SQL for Test Data (Desirable)
Typescript and ideally Angular experience (Desirable)
Docker
Azure DevOps Responsibilities:
Create and implement automation frameworks from Scratch.
Create testing strategies and plans.
Champion quality within the team, drive forward the testing within the project.
Coordinate and lead test execution.
Produce test scripts and reports.
Work directly with stakeholders on the project.
Mentor Junior Engineers.
