VocalEyes is an arts organisation and charity that works with and for blind and visually impaired people: creating accessible performances, events and digital media for arts and heritage venues across the UK, primarily through audio description services.
We are looking for a part time (3 days a week) Administrator and Projects Coordinator to support our small but busy team. The post would suit someone with strong administrative skills, who is solution focused, interested in establishing new processes, and confident in liaising with a range of people.
Salary: £16,380 per annum based on a 3-day working week (21 hours) (pro rata of £27,300 full-time equivalent)
This is a fixed term contract to 30 November 2025,
with possibility of extension. The post is based in London. However, we are currently working the majority of the time from home with an expectation that the team will work together at Thomas Pocklington Trust (TPT) at least once a month and additional days when required. There may also be a requirement to visit venues.
Aim of the post is to support the delivery of VocalEyes' programmes, in particular our Museums, Galleries and Heritage programme and Marketing and Audience Development work. The post will also provide general administration support for our Chief Executive Officer. All our work supports arts and heritage organisations to welcome and visually impaired people, mainly through Audio Description (AD) services, training, and consultancy.
We are committed to being an inclusive employer and recruiting a workforce that is as diverse as the communities we serve.
We particularly encourage applications from Disabled, D/deaf and/or neurodivergent people and those from Black, Asian and Ethnically Diverse backgrounds, who are currently under-represented in the arts, culture and heritage workforce.
