The job itself
We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to work within the business support services team as an Assistant Project Manager for The Supply Chain Network.
The Supply Chain Network (TSCN) is an online tool to support businesses to source their ideal suppliers,
promote themselves to new potential clients, and be alerted to new opportunities from across the region and beyond. The platform promotes the commitment to using local suppliers wherever possible and to support businesses by making opportunities visible, accessible and winnable.
Supporting the Management Team and working alongside the other Assistant Project Managers you will:
Provide time-bound, pro-active support and engagement to regional businesses through the development, testing, implementation and promotion of The Supply Chain Network online tools. This includes engagement with businesses, stakeholders and partners, through various marketing activities, encouraging increased use of the platform and therefore increased access to local supply chain opportunities.
Working with and supporting the wider business support team the role will also ensure the timely progression of businesses into accessing appropriate advice, workshops, events,
and grants through current funded programmes and keep accurate records of progress in order to benefit the economic well-being of the region.

The work base will be confirmed following recruitment. The position will need to work across the East Riding of Yorkshire and one of the Business Centres will be allocated as a work base.
