Abatec is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to join their client, a regional groundworks civil engineering contractor on a freelance basis in Gloucestershire.
Our client has built its reputation on delivering large, multi-million-pound groundworks projects and requires a Health & Safety advisor with experience working on civil engineering and construction sites in a similar position.
As a Health and Safety Advisor you will:
* Support and provide information to the site ensuring compliance with all requirements in the construction plans.
* Support investigations of incidents including close calls and near misses on site.
* Identifying training needs
* Assist in the production of Health and Safety plans, procedures,
and associated documentation and check Compliance.
Our client is looking for a Health & Safety Advisor with:
* Sound Knowledge of Civil Engineering/Construction Methods
* Relevant qualifications in Health and Safety or previous experience in a similar role
* Problem-solving skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
* Experience working on Civil Engineering/Construction sites.
Salary/Benefits:
* £350 - £400 CIS
