Job Title: Temporary Corporate Services Executive Officer
Contract Type: Temporary (6-month contract)
Salary Range: £27,897 - £28,483 (under review)
Location: Belfast (Fully Office Based)
Main Purpose: The Temporary Corporate Services Executive Officer will support the Corporate Services team in delivering various functions, including Finance, IT, Health & Safety, Information Governance, and Facilities Management. The role also ensures the effective operation, safety, and security of the office building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Records Management: Identify records for disposal, arrange secure disposal, and liaise with the information governance lead.
- Finance Support: Conduct assurance checks on payments,
raise purchase orders, input invoices, and assist with asset management.
- Premises and Facilities Management: Serve as the premises officer, liaising with contractors and ensuring planned maintenance works. Act as the Health & Safety Officer and maintain premises records.
- Procurement and IT: Manage a contract database, assist in procurement exercises, and support staff with IT queries.
- General Duties: Support staff induction, business continuity planning, and corporate event coordination. Provide administrative assistance across various teams and senior management.
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in administrative support within an office environment.
- Proven ability to manage competing work priorities under pressure.
- Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially MS Word and Excel.
- Experience in managing health and safety issues in an office setting.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in facilities management, finance systems, or the public sector.
- Health and Safety qualification.
