The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full-Time French Teacher to join their excellent Modern Foreign Languages department.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for the French language and culture and be able to inspire students across Key Stage and Key Stage 4. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic teacher to deliver engaging and high-quality lessons that promote linguistic competence and intercultural understanding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality French lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
- Encourage a love for languages and an appreciation for French culture, literature, and history.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the Modern Foreign Languages curriculum and contribute to departmental initiatives.
- Support the personal and academic growth of students, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Participate in extra-curricular activities, school events, and enrichment opportunities related to language learning.
Requirements:
- A degree in French or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a willingness to work towards this qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching French.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
