36T HUB is seeking a motivated Operations Manager to oversee our dynamic Sales & Promotional Staff at Heathrow Airport. In this role, you will drive operational excellence while ensuring our team delivers superior service for some of the worlds most renowned brands within the Duty-Free retail space. You will lead by example, motivating your team, and fostering an environment where innovation and customer satisfaction thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Management: Guide and inspire a team diverse staff, ensuring they meet brand expectations while fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Operational Efficiency: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth execution of promotional activities while maximizing efficiency and output.
- Sales & Target Management: Work closely with the team to ensure promotional campaigns hit sales targets. Use performance metrics to analyse progress and adapt strategies as needed.
- Employee Development: Provide coaching and mentorship to team members, supporting them in their professional growth and helping them enhance their skills in sales, customer service, and product knowledge.
- Stakeholder Relations: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including airport partners and global brands, to strengthen relationships and align promotional strategies.
- Strategic Planning:
Anticipate staffing needs for upcoming promotions and seasonal peaks, ensuring optimal team coverage and seamless execution of retail operations.
- Performance Reporting: Regularly track and report on key performance indicators, using data to guide decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
- Crisis Management: Address operational challenges swiftly, maintaining communication across departments to ensure minimal disruption to service and sales.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within retail operations, preferably in travel retail or luxury brands.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving sales goals.
- Exceptional leadership skills,
with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication skills, both with internal teams and external partners.
- Flexibility to adapt to the fast-paced, dynamic environment of airport retail.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

- Competitive salary: £33,000 to £36,000 per year depending on experience.
