Our client, A Large public sector organisation, is looking for an Admin Officer to join their team.
Duration: 3-6 months
Rate of pay: £12.59 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Monday-Friday ( 9am-5pm )
Location: Belfast
Main duties:
The role of the Administrative Officer is to provide an effective and efficient administrative support service, carrying out a range of administrative tasks, including use of computer systems, maintaining good communication with colleagues and reporting any issues to line manager as required.
Key Responsibilities
1. To draft letters and memos and undertake general administrative/clerical duties and provide administrative/clerical support to colleagues within the department.

To provide a full range of typing services including audio typing, copy typing, word processing.
3. To undertake routine filing duties ensuring that manual and computerised filing systems and registers are maintained and updated as necessary.
4. Maintaining statistical records in relation to enquiries of a complex nature involving word processing and excel spreadsheets.
5. Deal with queries from internal and external sources.
6. To assist colleagues in their work with outside agencies.
7. To have responsibility for the opening, distribution and recording of correspondence received within the Department.
8. To answer telephone calls and arrange appointments, as required.
9. To photocopy and prepare documentation/papers for distribution/processing.
10. To ensure the continuity of exhibits within set protocols.

1. A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an administrative role within a
Regulatory/Criminal Justice environment.
Essential Criteria:
* 5 GCSE’s A-C including Maths & English (We will require proof at time of application)
