Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our patrons while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve preparing and serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to a positive guest experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages,
including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with standard recipes.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the bar area.
- Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
- Maintain an organised bar area, restocking supplies as necessary and disposing of waste responsibly.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to efficiently serve customers during peak hours.
- Assist in training new staff members on bar procedures and customer service standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with bartending techniques and drink preparation is advantageous.
- A strong understanding of food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a passion for helping others and providing outstanding service.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
