Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative looking to take the next step or a Warehouse Supervisor looking for a new challenge?
We’re looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our growing team at our Greenford site.
This is a full time, permanent role. Normal shift patterns are 07:30 – 17:00, Monday – Friday with occasional Saturdays paid at overtime rates during our busy season (Nov – Mar).
Starting hourly salary is £14.33.
Overall Purpose of the Role:
You will help lead the warehouse team and support our warehouse operatives to manage our stock
efficiently and keep our production operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities and duties:
- Under the guidance of the Warehouse Manager you will lead your team in a fast paced picking operation.
- You will ensure core operations such as goods in, stock counts and movement of materials to our production kitchen are completed on time, in full.
- You will make sure all our record keeping is clear and up to date.
- You will help determine staffing levels and assign workload
- You will help identify areas of improvement and help to establish new procedures as needed.
Skills and knowledge:
- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Operative or Warehouse Supervisor
- Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency preferable
- Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Forklift License preferable
