They are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Economics Teacher to join their faculty in a full-time, permanent capacity starting immediately.
Position Overview :
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a comprehensive and engaging Economics curriculum to students across Key Stages 4 and 5.
The role entails fostering a stimulating and insightful learning environment that encourages critical thinking, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of economic principles and their real-world applications.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and deliver inspiring Economics lessons that align with the national curriculum and the school's educational ethos.
- Create a dynamic classroom atmosphere that promotes student engagement and participation.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual growth.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Social Sciences department and across the school to enrich the learning experience.
- Stay abreast of current economic trends, pedagogical approaches, and developments in Economics education.
Qualifications and Experience :
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Economics or a closely related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Economics at the secondary level, preferably across Key Stages 4 and 5.
