Summary
Human Resources serve all business lines and support functions across the bank with a range of HR support services. The primary interface between HR and the business is a team of HR Business Partners (HRBPs), who liaise with other areas of the HR function to deliver core and ad hoc processes, as appropriate.
HR also supports the successful execution of the bank's Culture framework, as custodians of key culture reinforcers.
The HR Practice Teams support the development and delivery of the HR strategy. Practice teams define policies, procedures and controls, and provide specialist process support, advice and thought leadership for the entire HR value chain.
Core transaction services are provided through the Payroll and HR Services functions.
Job Purpose
This job sits within the HR Reward and Mobility team based in the UK. This is a key, client-facing role, predominantly delivering Global Mobility support and advice to all Globally mobile employees within ICBC Standard Bank as well as supporting HR colleagues with Global Mobility expertise.
Additionally, the role provides Reward analytical and co-ordination support to the team. The job holder will be the first point of contact and will be responsible for establishing and preserving strong relationships, providing accurate timely customer service and administration.
Key Responsibilities
Global Mobility :
Manage and support all Globally Mobile employees including Assignees, Permanent transferees and Permanent hires as Primary contact for all ICBC
Standard offices
- Responsible for instructing and coordinating all external suppliers providing Global Mobility services including Relocation, Immigration and Tax
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful assignments and placements
- Provision of Global Mobility data and administrative deliverables to ensure adherence to internal; and external policies and compliance
- Ensuring correct data exchanges with HR Services and Payroll across all locations
- Review and manage all activities to ensure local statutory compliance is adhered to at all times
- Review and manage Global Mobility Policies and Processes to ensure ongoing compliance and best market practice
Reward :
- Support and manage queries in relation to employee benefits (pension, private medical care, income protection etc) and supporting with the annual renewals as appropriate
- Support and maintain Remuneration and Benefit specific systems including preparation of year-end remuneration system for annual cycle
- Support and manage the Reward and Mobility email inbox being first line for any internal and external queries
Head Office :
- Maintenance and update of the ICBC HR Portal
- Support of ad hoc tasks directed by ICBC HR Business Partner
General :
- Process and manage Purchase Orders and Invoices for Remuneration, Benefits and Global Mobility
- Actively supporting management in the identification and implementation of continuous service improvement initiatives within HR.
Managing / leading these initiatives as required
- To ensure that end to end processes are documented in accordance with internal audit, risk and control standards
- Ad hoc projects as required.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
The successful candidate will have :
- Experience in working within a Mobility role, with exposure to international assignee and employee matters
- Fluent in English and preferable Mandarin (Business, conversational, reading and writing).
- Experience of working with HR systems
- Experience of working in a similar Corporate / Financial Services environment or with a customer / client service environment.
- Strong Excel and Word skills
