Introduction
On behalf of our esteemed client, a high-achieving secondary school located in the vibrant borough of Waltham Forest, we are seeking a dynamic and accomplished Music Teacher to join their dedicated team in September.
This full-time, permanent position presents an exceptional opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire and nurture the musical talents of their students.
Position Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive music education to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
This encompasses planning and executing stimulating lessons, fostering a love of music through diverse genres and activities, and preparing students for examinations and performances.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to academic excellence, creativity, and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver inspiring and differentiated music lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and enjoyment.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote individual growth.
- Actively contribute to the development and enhancement of the school's music program.
- Participate in extracurricular music activities, such as ensembles, choirs, and concerts.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience teaching music at the secondary level.
- A proven track record of academic success and student engagement.
- Proficiency in a variety of musical instruments and genres.
