Girls' Physical Education Teacher - Hackney Secondary School
Opportunity Overview :
Our client, a reputable secondary school located in the vibrant borough of Hackney, is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Girls' Physical Education Teacher to join their faculty starting in September.
This full-time, permanent position offers a unique opportunity to inspire and develop young female athletes in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities :
- Design and deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons for girls across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love for physical activity and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
- Develop individualized training programs for student-athletes, tailoring instruction to meet their diverse needs and abilities.
- Lead extracurricular sports activities and teams, nurturing talent and promoting competitive spirit.
- Collaborate with colleagues to assess student progress and provide constructive feedback, ensuring ongoing improvement.
- Stay abreast of current trends and best practices in physical education pedagogy, incorporating innovative teaching methods into the curriculum.
Qualifications & Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification
- Demonstrated experience teaching PE to secondary school girls
- Proven ability to motivate and inspire students, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills,
with a focus on teamwork and collaboration
