Your role and responsibilities :
Supporting children with mild to moderate SEN including Autism (ASD), ADHD, Global Delay, Communication and Social interaction issues, mild behaviour issues.
Working with small groups of children on a 1 : 1 basis to ensure progression in their learning.
Provide a calm and interactive approach to ensure children feel motivated during lessons.
Promote progression and celebrate the small wins, so that children feel motivated at all times.
Specification / Qualifications :
Recognised Speech and Language degree or equivalent
BSL Degree or equivalent
Good knowledge of SEN
Previous experience in similar role
Passion for working with children with SEND
Calm,
patient and resilient approach
Work well as team and on own initiative
