The role as an ABA Assistant :

- Your main duty as an ABA assistant will be to support the students in the classroom this may be on a 1 : 1 basis or in a small group
- You will facilitate a safe learning environment and help with the children access their learning in a positive way
- You will be supported by the class teacher and have the advantage of being exposed to a variety of different therapeutic techniques and other professionals
- The class sizes are small so you will have the opportunity to give each child the attention they deserve

The successful Therapy Assistant :

- Will be calm, passionate about making a difference and positive
- Will have some experience working with children
- Will understand the importance of safeguarding
- Will have a DBS certificate or be willing to obtain one
