Job description
Leading UK law firm in Birmingham is looking for a commercial / IT senior associate to play a key role in its established commercial / IT team.
The successful candidate’s work will focus on major IT and business process outsourcing projects for the likes of Central Government bodies (and range of arms’ length bodies and executive agencies), NHS bodies, local authorities and Housing Associations, as well as private sector companies.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills :
- Good experience in drafting and negotiating contracts (including IT contracts).
- Experience in commercial transactional projects and contract management support.
- Demonstrate a real interest in IT or technology law,
with a keenness to develop further.
- Ability to work in a team, coordinating advice with other fee earners across a wide range of disciplines
- Ability to liaise effectively with clients · Practical and commercial approach.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
