Student Mental Health Support - Specialist Provisions

Location : Salford

School Type : Secondary, SEMH Provision

Full-time : 8.30 to 3.30

Are you passionate about supporting young people with mental health difficulties? Join our specialist secondary school in Salford, where we focus on helping students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide classroom and 1 : 1 support to students with a range of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, and emotional difficulties.






- Assist in developing students' emotional resilience, guiding them to engage positively with their education both socially and academically.
- Collaborate closely with teachers and the SEMH support team to create and implement individual support plans and interventions.
- Help students manage emotions and behaviors through structured activities, promoting a calm and inclusive learning environment.
- Regularly monitor student wellbeing, adapting strategies to ensure progress and provide feedback to the team.

Ideal Candidate :

While qualifications are benificial, we value a positive attitude and a genuine interest in SEMH support. If you have the drive and passion to help young people, we can provide the training you need.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases,





the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
