An established independent school in Hounslow seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join its dynamic team.
This is a full-time, permanent position offering a rewarding opportunity to play a vital role in supporting the teaching and learning of students across the school.
About the Role :
- Supporting Teachers and Students :
- Work collaboratively with teachers across various year groups, providing high-quality support in the planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons.
- Deliver small group or individualized instruction to students, tailoring support to meet their specific needs and learning styles.
- Assist with assessment tasks and provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their learning progress.
- Create engaging and stimulating learning resources to supplement the curriculum.
- Promoting Engagement and Inclusion :
- Implement strategies to differentiate instruction and personalize learning experiences for all students, ensuring inclusivity and catering to diverse learning needs.
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that motivates students and encourages participation.
- Build strong relationships with students, providing pastoral support and guidance.
- Supporting School Operations :
- Contribute to the smooth running of the classroom by maintaining a safe and organized learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with other TAs, teachers, and support staff to ensure the effective operation of the school.
The Ideal Candidate :
- Possesses a relevant qualification, such as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or a degree in a relevant subject (desirable).
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching practices.
- Has experience working with students of different ages and abilities, with a proven track record of supporting their learning progress.
- Possesses excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Maintains a positive and enthusiastic attitude, fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment for students.
- Holds a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting student well-being.
