- MBChB or equivalent
- Postgraduate qualification or equivalent MRCPCH / MRCP
- Postgraduate qualification or equivalent FRCPath
- Relevant clinical experience in Haemoglobinopathy
- Good team-working skills
Desirable
- Eligible for specialist registration in Haematology. Should be on the specialist register or be within 6 months of obtaining CCT or equivalent at interview
- MD, PhD, or other higher degree
- Relevant clinical experience in Laboratory Haematology
- Post graduate qualification or equivalent
