Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Computer Science lessons to students, ensuring effective learning and progress
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all students
- Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to support student learning
- Assess and track student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to students and parents
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share resources and best practices
- Keep up-to-date with current developments in Computer Science education
- Support the school's extracurricular activities, including coding clubs and competitions
Requirements
- Qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Knowledge and experience of teaching Computer Science at the primary / secondary level
- Strong understanding of the UK curriculum and current developments in Computer Science education
- Ability to inspire and engage students in the field of Computer Science
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized and able to manage time effectively
- Dedication to continuous professional development and keeping up-to-date with industry trends
