IT Support (1st and 2nd line)

Key Responsibilities :
Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT-related queries.
Present a positive, professional image of the IT department.
Deliver efficient solutions within agreed processes and standards.
IT support for a wide range of users and stakeholders.
Routine Tasks :
Provide first and second level support to a range if users.
Quickly identify and assess support requests.
Categorise and assign requests appropriately.
Escalate issues when necessary.
Liaise with third-party organisations to meet business needs.
Adhere to IT controls whilst providing services.
Perform troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Support user acceptance testing.
Fulfil any other reasonable requests from your line manager.
Knowledge & Experience :
Essential :
Proven track record in user support provision.
Efficient in a busy, Microsoft-based and Mac-iOS environment.
Quick to learn and adapt to a wide range of IT hardware and software.
Desirable :
Recognised qualification in IT service and support.
Experience in IT help desk administration.
Experience in highly-regulated, commercial environments.
Knowledge of MS SharePoint and Google collaborative platforms.
Skills Required : Essential :

Experience as an IT support professional across the 1st and 2nd line environment
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Strong organisation and attention to detail.
Ability to process information at an appropriate technical level.
Recognise business priorities and follow processes.
