Job description
We are seeking a passionate and innovativeArt Teacher to join our vibrant educational community inManchester. The ideal candidate will have a deep appreciation forthe arts a dedication to fostering a creative learning environmentand a strong desire to help students express their artistictalents.
KeyResponsibilities :
- Planand deliver engaging and inspiring art lessons to students acrossvarious age groups and abilities.
- Develop andimplement a curriculum that meets national standards and encouragescreativity critical thinking and artistic expression.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through a variety offormative and summative assessments.
- Provideconstructive feedback and support to students helping them torefine their skills and build confidence in their artisticabilities.
- Create a positive and inclusiveclassroom atmosphere that encourages experimentation and a love forthe arts.
- Collaborate with colleagues to sharebest practices participate in professional development andcontribute to the overall success of the school.
- Organize and participate in extracurricular activitiessuch as art clubs exhibitions and community art projects to enrichthe students educational experience.
- Maintainopen and effective communication with parents guardians and thewider schoolcommunity.
Qualificationsand Experience :
- Adegree in Fine Arts Art Education or a related field.
- A teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE QTS orequivalent).
- Proven experience teaching art atsecondary school level is preferred.
- Strongknowledge of various art techniques mediums and history.
- Excellent communication and interpersonalskills.
- Ability to inspire and motivatestudents to explore their creativity and artisticpotential.
- A commitment to continuousprofessional development and staying current with educational bestpractices.
