About the Role :
As an English Teacher, you will :
- Deliver engaging and stimulating English lessons across the curriculum, catering to Key Stage 3 (Years 7-8) and potentially Key Stage 4 (Years 9-11).
- Foster a love of literature and language in students, encouraging exploration of a wide range of texts and developing their critical analysis skills.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students can develop their literacy skills effectively.
- Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring it aligns with the school's vision, national requirements, and the latest advancements in English education.
- Build strong and positive relationships with students, fostering their confidence in written and verbal communication.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to enable students to reach their full potential.
- Design and implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress in reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
