Graduate Teaching Assistant
Location : Sheffield
Salary : £95 to £120 per day, depending on experience
Contract : Day-to-day / Long-term, Part-time / Full-time

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are working with an esteemed school located in Sheffield that is seeking a committed and passionate Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team.
This role provides a unique opportunity to support students across a variety of subjects and year groups.
The Role :
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant , you will provide vital support to teachers and students,
contributing to a dynamic and effective learning environment.
Your role will involve assisting with classroom activities, supporting individual students and helping to deliver engaging educational experiences.
Responsibilities of the Graduate Teaching Assistant :
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons, ensuring that all students are engaged and supported.
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons, ensuring students remain engaged and on task.
- Prepare classroom materials and resources, contributing to a well-organised and stimulating learning environment.
- Support teachers with administrative tasks, such as marking and record-keeping.
- Maintain regular communication with teachers and school staff to ensure continuity of learning and adherence to school policies.
The successful candidate will :
- Be a recent graduate with a degree in Education or a related field.
- Have previous experience working with children or in an educational setting .
- Have a proactive and flexible approach to supporting teaching and learning.
- Have an updated CV ( covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps ) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
