Job Title : IT Infrastructure Engineer
Location : London
Salary : £50,000 - £55,000
Job Description :
We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with a passion for IT and a strong footing in Azure & Networking to join the IT team of our client, a prestigious solicitors firm in London.
The successful candidate will have robust technical knowledge of IT Infrastructure, take ownership of scenarios, and have a proven track record of providing effective, hands-on IT solutions.
The main responsibilities of the IT Infrastructure Engineer include :
- Install, maintain, and support the IT environment, including network and servers, monitoring systems, change management, and telephone systems.
- Ensure the security, reliability, and availability of on-premise IT systems through monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Install, support, and configure Virtualization and Cloud Solutions.
- Address infrastructure issues, providing efficient and timely resolutions.
- Update the helpdesk system, ensuring all parties are informed about updates, resolutions, or escalations of issues.
Technical Skills / Requirements :
- Azure, Office 365, & Intune
- Cisco Networking
- Experience with Virtual Servers (Hyper-V, VMware, Azure)
- Windows Server 2022
- Powershell / Batch Scripting / Bash Scripting
- Cloud Migrations
- Hardware Rebuilds
