Bank Community Centre Officer
Hourly Rate : Upto £ per hour
Contracttype : Hours per week will vary according to service demand, Upto 15 hours per week
Location : Beethoven Centre, Third Avenue, Queen's Park,London, W10 4JL
Additional information : You will receive a rota up to4 weeks in advance of working at the centre, the days and times of working willvary.
Role Overview
As a Bank Community Centre Officer, you will be the firstpoint of contact at the Beethoven Centre, ensuring the facilities are ready forcustomers that are using the centre for events and activities, ensuring theirneeds are met and assisting with the general upkeep of the Centre.
Key Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the opening and securing of the Beethoven Centre including; setting and unsetting of alarms, checking the building prior to allowing customers in to use the centre
- Facilitate bookings, including payments and refunds, adhering to cash handling procedures as required and promoting / adhering to terms and conditions of hire including taking payments for bookings at other centres
- Upkeep of the facilities and administration of the centre including stock control, recording tenant hire use for invoicing and general marketing needs
- Support the day to day management of the centre, including replenishing provisions and preparing rooms for upcoming bookings
- Collect customers data accordance with GDPR and work collaboratively with the communities Centre Assistant to ensure the data is stored as required
- Carry out regular building checks both internally and externally, correcting any Health & Safety issues or reporting those that need additional attention to Facilities Officer in the first instance
