Rutherford Cross is delighted to partner with a dynamic, Glasgow-based business to recruit a Financial Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual to make a real impact by identifying business needs, designing, and implementing innovative solutions. The Financial Accountant will play a key role in transforming processes and driving the finance team forward to meet evolving business objectives.
This role would ideally suit a part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with strong analytical skills, who is ready to step up into a varied and exciting position. There is also the option for study support to be considered for the right candidate towards gaining their full professional qualification.
Role Responsibilities:Business partnering with non-finance colleagues in various operating companies within the group
Involvement in month-end management accounts provision
Raising and/or approving bank payment transactions
Preparation or review of journal entries
Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations
Providing support to finance colleagues for other regular and ad hoc activities
Requirements:Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)Experienced in working with and building data, reporting and forecasting models in Finance systems
Have advanced analytical skills to build robust reporting and analysis models
Be passionate about making improvements with a strong focus on delivery
Have a collaborative approach to working with end users to understand requirements and to pass on essential skills to enable the long-term maintenance and development of the processes
Be experienced with NetSuite (desired)Experience of using Excel Power Queries (desired)On Offer:Competitive salary of up to £40,000 p.a (DOE)Hybrid working model
