Programme Overview

The EMEA Early Careers Programme is your gateway to a 24-month intensive experience in Corporate & Investment Banking. As a graduate analyst, you'll build leadership skills, gain in-depth business knowledge, and develop a comprehensive understanding of Wells Fargo's operations.

Your journey begins with a robust training program in the United States, where you'll join analysts from across the globe. This immersive training covers financial accounting, cash flow, credit analysis, product structuring, corporate valuation, and financial modeling. You'll return equipped with the skills and insights needed to make an immediate impact.

Fixed Income and Currencies (FIC) eSales

Our Global Markets team offers a full suite of capital market products and solutions, from distributing public debt and equity to hedging interest rates, credit, and equity risks. This is where the future of finance takes shape. Join us to excel and evolve in a dynamic, results-driven environment.

In this role, you will:

- Managing various parts of the businesses from covering clients as sales, partnering with the trading desk to focus on Wells Fargo's pricing and working alongside product management and technology teams responsible for building Wells Fargo Electronic Trading business across all FICC.
- Liaise, create relationships, and represent the brand with external E-Trading venues.






- Analyse Key performance metrics of Wells Fargo's performance with Market Focus accounts and present monthly and quarterly analytics for senior management.
- Assist in trade execution of both electronic trades and voice trades including pricing, trade processing, confirmations, and bookings.
- Understand and become a subject matter expert in the ever-evolving Electronic Trading part of the business for internal and external communications.
- Have a complete end-to-end understanding of electronic trading workflows and challenges faced by various types of clients, varying from Systematic to High-Touch, to help build a long-term product offering within the firm.






- Perform analysis on the competitor landscape by partnering with external vendors and help build a roadmap to create a top-class offering that serves our clients, maximizes PnL and increases firm's marketshare across FICC products.
- Further offerings, expand business opportunities and correct potential issues/answer questions as they arise.
- Expand and automate manual workflows to better align with streamlined nature of electronic landscape.
- Align with compliance, legal and business management to avoid regulatory issues for the entire FICC business across Sales and Trading.
- Daily operational tasks ranging from settlements, trade terminations, allocations, and miscellaneous internal tasks.

Requirements

- Final-year undergraduate (graduating June 2025)
- Strong interest in technology and finance demonstrated through experience or extracurricular activities.






- Academic excellence with a proven track record
- Fluency in English

- Energetic self-starter who is flexible, organized, conscientious, proactive, and detail oriented.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong work ethic, initiative, and desire to learn.

- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and to communicate effectively internally and externally.
- Knowledge of a Programming language such as Python is a plus.
- Detail Oriented and ability to perform and articulate data analysis.
- Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.






- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- High personal accountability and urgency in achieving goals.
