The Opportunity
Zenith International (part of Publicis Media) is looking for an accomplished programmatic & display associate director to lead the programmatic activation for an exciting client brand following an important pitch win. The role will have a particular focus on delivering display and programmatic expertise. This role will sit within the Europe and North Africa (ENA) region and will have accountability for delivery across 43 local markets in a centralised regional model.
The Client
This role is to oversee the account strategy and operations of a central hub who support display & programmatic media. The hub will support several markets and deliver tactical media planning and campaign activation.
The associate director will lay the ground work for the strategic direction the hub follows and will oversee its implementation into campaigns. As a primary point of contact for clients’ marketing teams & Publicis stakeholders, the associate director will be responsible for ensuring that excellent service is upheld and campaigns are flawlessly executed.
This is a new client for Zenith International as the result of a recent competitive pitch win. It is a ‘Power of One’ client, comprising the best talent and product offering from agencies across the Publicis Groupe, including creative, production, strategy, technology and media planning and buying. The win represents a significant commercial opportunity for the agency and will provide a platform for talent to learn, grow and progress their careers.
The client is a leader in the international travel and hospitality industry with a significant footprint globally, most notably within Europe and North Africa, offering premium,
mid-range and economy solutions for guests. They invest in all digital media across brand and performance and have clear and specific KPIs the agency will be measured against. In order to deliver these KPIs, we need the best talent to drive strategic innovation and operational excellence consistently.
The candidate will work closely with the Programmatic Director to manage the overall programme with a direct responsibility for managing programmatic campaigns within the ENA hub and driving excellent standards of delivery in programmatic execution.
This is a recently created role, which will report into the Programmatic Director.
- Clear and timely communication with clients and other members of the team.
- Define and develop the hubs organizational approach,
implement and develop efficient standard processes across the team to streamline tasks.
- Lead a working group of programmatic experts to explore new possibilities in a subject area.
- Identify tests across the client, create testing framework and shout about results.
- Help facilitate a strong ‘team’ ethos and exhibit focused and positive team leadership.
- Develop and grow client confidence so that we can increase the agencies responsibilities.
- Manage the output of team members who cover 40+ countries of programmatic activity.
