Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Designer, who is deeply embedded in graphic and motion design. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Head of Creative, the Senior Graphic Designer is a key role in driving Depop's brand identity and visual design through our brand channels and more widely through the business.





You'll work closely with the creative team to make outstanding design work that positions Depop as the most diverse, progressive home of fashion.

Responsibilities

- Drive design direction, innovative creative ideation and execution for Depop brand, marketing, social and partnership campaigns, activations and content.

- Build and refine the Depop graphic systems and guidelines, and continually manage and evolve the Depop brand identity: ensuring this is central and consistent across all creative projects and platforms.

- Working on a variable scale of projects with hands on design ability to produce attractive and effective static and motion designs across multiple platforms, from print and digital to social and animated design for social and campaigns

- Define and develop motion graphic creative for Depop’s digital marketing channels







- Ability to structure/deliver outstanding creative presentations (internally or externally)

- Work closely with creative counterparts and key stakeholders to execute original ideas in static and motion while demonstrating your understanding of the Depop brand.

Requirements

- An outstanding digital portfolio demonstrating your graphic and motion design abilities

- You’ll be proficient in bringing your designs to life in motion across different digital briefs

- Excellent typography skills, creative mind and a sharp eye; layout and art direction

- The ability to create motion graphics, and animated typography that excite and inspire our creative community

- Demonstrable experience of delivering a broad range of design projects including brand campaigns, activations, moving image,





design systems, events, digital, motion graphics, print, social campaigns across different devices, screens and platforms

- Strong understanding of assessing the content landscape for a brand

- Strong communication skills and a highly developed design vocabulary

- Good organisational skills that support the rest of the team

Flex (Default)

Flex is our default working mode, meaning all employees will automatically enrol in this mode and there is no application required to enter this mode. Flex employees will be expected to work from the office at least 4 days per month. Teams will determine whether there are set weekly or monthly in-office days based on their operating rhythms and practices. You will need to work with your manager to determine your in-office schedule for your team.

Office Based

This option is for employees who are committing to work from the office for a minimum of 4 days per week.





As part of taking on the Office Based working mode you will be able to apply for a permanent desk in the office if you need one, but you won’t need to apply to become an Office Based employee.

Remote

Under the Remote working mode you are able to work anywhere within the country you are employed in. This mode requires around 2- 4 days per year in the office, depending on organisational guidance. You will be able to expense travel if you are asked to attend the office, but not for office attendance by your choice.
