Data & Analytics Machine Learning Ops Engineer Location: Hybrid (London Office: 2 days per week) Contract Type: Full-time, 12-month fixed term with potential extension IR35 Status: Inside IR35 Day rate: Competitive Start Date: December 2024 Deadline for Applications: 4th November 2024 About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Data & Analytics Machine Learning Ops Engineer to support a project involving Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology. You will be responsible for building and optimising Machine Learning (ML) models and deployment pipelines, ensuring smooth integration into production environments.
This includes collaborating with data scientists, developers, and technical teams,
focusing on the operational aspects of ML models. Key Responsibilities: Review and optimise the current Data Science proof of concept model. Build and deploy ML models into a production environment using the Azure stack.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for ML models. Implement monitoring tools to ensure model performance and prevent drift. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Science, Engineering, and Delivery teams.
Ensure security and data governance best practices are followed. Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to the business-as-usual (BAU) team ahead of project closure. Key Deliverables: Review and improvement of pilot architecture and data science models.
Development and deployment of ML models with appropriate testing and monitoring. Document ML Ops best practices and training pipelines. Ensure successful knowledge transfer to BAU teams.
Required Skills & Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as an ML Ops Engineer, ideally within large-scale projects.
Strong experience with Azure technologies and machine learning model deployment. Proficiency in Python and Scala for ML model implementation.
Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
