We are seeking a Privacy & Compliance Manager to join our legal department. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data protection, risk management, and compliance within the smart energy sector in London.

Description
- Managing and maintaining the organisation's privacy compliance programme.
- Implementing a framework for data protection and compliance.
- Carrying out risk assessments and implementing mitigation plans.
- Providing training and awareness sessions on data privacy across the organisation.
- Keeping abreast of regulatory developments within the Not For Profit sector.
- Working closely with the legal department to ensure compliance with data protection laws.
- Handling data protection queries from staff and third parties.
- Must have working knowledge of ISO27001.
- Preparing reports for management detailing compliance operations and plans.
Profile
A successful Privacy & Compliance Manager should have:
- A degree in Law, Business, IT or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of data protection laws and practices.
- Experience in data protection, info sec and compliance.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
