What You’ll Do:
- Maintain Stability: Ensure the smooth daily production of cloud data pipelines using tools like Kubernetes, Airflow, and AWS.
- Create Dashboards: Develop dashboards for risk analytics, signal generation, and trade simulations, used by both the quant team and the wider desk.
- Data Migration:
Work closely with technology teams to facilitate data migration processes.
What We’re Looking For:
Technical Skills:
- Python Proficiency: Strong experience with libraries like pandas, numpy, pytest, and jupyter for data visualization.
- Cloud & Containers: Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Database Expertise: Hands-on experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
- Development Tools: Competence with git, pip, and build pipelines.
There is no upper cap on experience, but as a general guide, we're looking for somewhere around 3-5 years of experience, but this is flexible. You're probably already a Python Developer working in a bank, asset manager or hedge fund, but we'll also consider applications from other companies in the FinTech ecosystem as long as you have the appetite to learn the business.
