Job Title: Receptionist
Department: Front of House
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, rotating shifts Monday to Sunday
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £25,758 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
- Create a welcoming environment: Greet patients, visitors, and staff with a warm, professional attitude, ensuring a great first impression.
- Manage appointments efficiently: Assist with scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments,
always ensuring accuracy in patient records.
- Handle enquiries smoothly: Answer phone calls promptly and courteously, managing messages with efficiency and professionalism.
- Support Front-of-House operations: Perform clerical duties such as data entry, filing, and correspondence, while keeping the reception area organised.
- Ensure safety and security: Maintain a secure and tidy reception area, adhering to hospital protocols and supporting visitor management.
About You:
- Previous experience in a receptionist or front-of-house role, ideally within a healthcare environment.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to provide a high level of customer service.
- Organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in office software and systems.
- Professional and calm under pressure, with a passion for delivering a great experience to patients and visitors.
- A diploma or equivalent is required, and qualifications in office administration or customer service are advantageous.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, is essential.
