Nearly/ Newly qualified Pensions Actuarial Consultant
Location: UK-wide inc Belfast & Scotland, hybrid
Salary: ~ £55,000-75,000
I am working with a number of medium-largest sized EBC's seeking PQ/ newly qualified Actuaries
The role:
- Mix of trustee and corporate advisory work
- Technical calculations/ valuations, ad-hoc projects such as GMPe, risk-transfer, accounting disclosures
- Attending trustee meetings and building relationships
- Checking and reviewing junior work
- Involvement in business development and other commercial objectives
The individual:
- Nearly/ Newly qualified Actuary (~10 papers passed)
- Experience in UK DB pensions (min 2 years), likely gained at a UK EBC
- Strong Excel skills
- Exposure to client relationship/ business development responsibilities
