Job description
A top brand name in private equity is looking to bolster its London based funds finance team with a new 12 month fixed term contract hire.
The hire has been created as a result of growth and projects the fund is undertaking. The incumbent will be responsible for fund control across several key funds and their respective co-investment schemes.
This is an ideal role for someone who is readily available (ideally no longer than a one month notice period) with circa 3-6 years of post qualified experience in a similar fund accountant / controller role with closed-end funds experience.
Key areas of responsibility include :
- Oversight of the outsourced fund accounting and management / oversight of the third party administrators
- Oversight of drawdowns, capital calls and distributions
- Undertaking fund financial analysis and the subsequent production of fund management information
- Supporting the quarterly portfolio valuations process
- Preparation of investor reporting
- Cash management across the funds
- Updating and maintaining the fund models
- Supporting various other internal teams, i.e. tax, investor relations
- Involvement in project work
Requirements include :
- Qualified accountant (ACA / CA / CPA / CIMA / ACCA) or equivalent
- Roughly 3-6 years of post qualified experience working with closed-end fund structures in a similar role. Ideally private equity, although other asset classes will be taken into consideration.
- Must be readily available and have the right to work in the UK.
Compensation is c£90-100k with a discretionary bonus and access to the full wider benefits package the firm offer.
