Location : Independent Girls' School, Salisbury
Contract : Temporary (September to Christmas, with potential for permanent extension)
Start Date : September 2024
We are seeking a dedicated and talented Drama Teacher to join our vibrant independent girls' school in Salisbury. This temporary role covers from September to Christmas but may be extended to a permanent position if the candidate wishes to become Head of the Drama Department and demonstrates suitability for the role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver engaging drama lessons to students of all abilities.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that meets educational standards.
- Encourage students' creativity and confidence through performance and dramatic arts.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support.
- Contribute to school productions and extracurricular activities.
Requirements :
- Degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related field.
- Experience teaching drama at the secondary school level.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for fostering students' creativity and confidence.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
